AFTER 7 IS BACK! It's been 20 years and "After7" is proud to announce they have returned to the studio. Kevon Edmonds, Keith Mitchell & Jason Edmonds joined by former original member Melvin Edmonds released their new single "I Want You" in October 2015. It was written and produced by Kenneth “BabyFace” Edmonds and Daryl Simmons.
After 7 was founded in 1989 by Kevon & Melvin's brother, Kenneth “BabyFace” Edmonds and his former business partner L .A. Reid.
Their debut album, self-titled “After 7” sold Platinum plus yielding two Gold Singles. “Ready or Not” climbed the billboard charts to the #1 position on R&B and the smash single “Can’t Stop” topped out at #6 on billboards Hot 100 Pop Charts. Their first release from their 1989 debut album, “Heat Of The Moment” was aTop Ten Single on the Urban Charts.
Jason joined the group replacing his father Melvin in 2004.

This is one of my favorite songs from, After 7...especially the acapella version. The hook harmony is beautiful in this. I still have the greatest hits album. As a musician myself, R&B and just great music itself, is what made/makes me, with God above leading (first and foremost).
